Writer’s Strike Update: Clock Still Ticking

Looks like the next big move will be tomorrow when the writers turn out en masse at the Pico gate of the Fox studio for a strength-in-numbers showing. But the strong commitment to the strike by conflicted showrunners could be the one thing that will get the producers back to the bargaining table. None of the other networks has made any announcements like Fox’s postponement of the entire season of "24," as of now anyway. There does seem to be a feeling of expectancy in the air - something has to happen soon.

The biggest news of the last day may be Ray Richmond’s report that Bill Clinton has offered to step in as mediator. There’s been talk of an ex-president getting involved for days, and I guess we all should have known it was Hollywood Bill.  (Hollywood Reporter)
