"Everyone I’ve talked to thinks this will be a long and hard strike that will still be going on well past the Academy Awards," says Nikke Finke of Deadline Hollywood Daily. If this turns out to be true - and predicting anything in Hollywood is a risky endeavor - then the TV season is, not to put too fine a point on it, fucked.
If there’s a strike, late-night comedy shows will take an immediate hit and likely go into a rerun coma. But the studios have enough prime-time episodes and scripts to get through the next few weeks, into the holiday season. Favorites like "Two And A Half Men," "CSI," "House" and "Pushing
Daisies," to name a few, will all likely run a normal mix of new shows
and repeats until the New Year.
