The levels of falseness in "The Hills" keep getting more and more complicated. I expect a media studies professor from UCLA to come up with an explanation for how people who you’d call "totally fake" if you met them in regular life got a "reality" show, and then developed secondary false personas for the cameras, piling pretense upon pretense until the entire thing might as well be scripted.
Anyway, the fake wedding between two of those fake people has been canceled: Heidi and Spencer are going to remain single. I think this is for real, though.
