July 16th, 2007 — My Name is Earl, Press Tour, Scrubs, NBC, 30 Rock, The Office
In possibly the most insane bit of scheduling so far this tour, NBC has devoted a whopping 30-minute session to Q&A with stars and producers from all four of its Thursday night comedies. By the time they finish introductions, it’ll be half over. Nonetheless, given the rabid fan base for "The Office" and perhaps the others, I’m going to liveblog it…
The participants, producers first: Greg Garcia and Jason Lee from "My Name Is Earl," Lorne Michaels and Tina Fey from "30 Rock," Greg Daniels and John Krasinski from "The Office," and Bill Lawrence and Zach Braff from "Scrubs." Fey’s got a little black dress with a loooow neck line. Krasinski has a funny haircut, a tie with sleeves rolled up, highwater jeans, sneakers - he looks about 12. Lee has a full hillbilly beard. Everyone else is Hollywood casual normal.
Someone asks about the disappointing ratings for this stellar lineup: "I […]

June 29th, 2007 — Kyle Chandler, Connie Britton, NBC, Ducky Does TV, Heroes, Chuck, Friday Night Lights
This is a great letter that Boston Globe TV Columnist Matthew Gilbert put up today. It’s addressing new NBC bossman Ben Silverman about how to approach the upcoming fall television season in regards to Friday Night Lights. It’s heavy on the convincing tip and why not, it’s one of the best shows on […]

June 19th, 2007 — NBC
Got your attention? That’s the title of a show NBC has just signed to develop. It’s the English translation of the title of a telenovela in Colombia that broke viewing records set by the original "Ugly Betty." It’s about a call girl who worries that her chest isn’t big enough. AP has all the details, but really, I bet you already know if you’re going to watch or not, right?

June 9th, 2007 — Bionic Woman, Michelle Ryan, NBC, Katee Sackhoff, Battlestar Galactica, Sci-Fi, Ducky Does TV
At this week’s Sci-Fi Channel Battlestar Galactica “All Access Event”, the big draw seems to be the smokin’ hot Katee Sackhoff. Bionic Woman is one of the most talked about shows for the Fall over on NBC and with Battlestar announcing their last season NBC/Universal is carting Sackhoff out like the second coming of […]
