"Lost" leads the TV nominations for the Saturn Awards from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy And Horror Films. Best Network Series nominees are: "Heroes," "Journeyman," "Lost," "Pushing Daisies," "Supernatural" and "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles." "Journeyman"? Really? (TV Addict)

Fox now has the highest average network rating for the season. Yikes. (AP)
I guess "K-Ville" really isn’t coming back. Anthony Anderson is going to replacing Jesse L. Martin on "Law & Order." (Hollywood Reporter)

“Journeyman” Reaches End Of The Road, Hits Dead End, Red Light, Etc.

It took much longer than I thought it would, given the show’s convoluted, more or less indecipherable time-travel plot. But NBC declined to pick up the "back end" option on "Journeyman" by Tuesday, and so the series will go to the great graveyard in the sky, or the past, or San Francisco, after the remaining two episodes air. The fact that it survived as long as it did is, I think, a tribute to the appeal of star Kevin McKidd ("Rome"), part of this year’s Brit invasion, who ought to be given another series shot as soon as the strike is over.
In the meantime, Kev, welcome to Hollywood, where getting the shiv two weeks before Christmas is just a normal bit of business.

That’s one down for NBC’s fall 2007 dramas, two picked up - "Chuck" and "Life," the latter starring Brit Damian Lewis. Still on the bubble is the disappointing […]

JOURNEYMAN Ends Its Journey

It’s with a heavy heart that I come bearing bad news for JOURNEYMAN fans. According to E!’s Kristin Dos Santos, JOURNEYMAN has closed up shop for good, and not just because of the writers strike. It seems that Journeyman is gone even if the WGA strike were to end soon.
There are two more […]

I don’t know what it’s going to take for NBC to keep JOURNEYMAN on the air after the WGA strike, but I really hope they give this show another shot.  Over the past few weeks we seen story progression and character growth that has really brought the show to the next level, and last night’s […]

NBC Re-Ups “Chuck” and “Life” - Whither “Journeyman?”

NBC announced late yesterday that it’s giving full-season commitments to ratings-challenged freshman dramas "Chuck" (right) and "Life," offering their oddball heroes 22 full episodes to win over our hearts. It’s difficult to parse whether this would have happened without a writers strike, which has complicated every such decision. "Life" never seems to have caught on, while "Chuck" was a critics’ favorite initially but has underwhelmed since. Just yesterday, the NY Times TV Decoder blog was wondering if "Life" was dead.
One show not mentioned is the peacock’s "Journeyman," which has only a couple of new episodes left in the can, and is unlikely to produce more. Reportedly the final ep would unravel at least some of the mystery behind the show’s time-traveling plot.

So Say We All: How I Met Your Mother, Heroes, Journeyman

It’s been a while since we’ve had a ’so say we all’. Why? Because I’m a very inconsistent blogger who starts these little things and then forgets all about them. Well, there was a lot of TV happening last night, and rather than rant about all of it, here’s my two cents […]

Proof that us reviewers know what we’re talking about: "Journeyman" ratings are down. Proof that we don’t: "Chuck" and "Heroes" are also sagging. (Televisionista)
Proof that the jury’s still out: "Cavemen’s" fate will likely be revealed tonight, when its second episode airs. last week’s big numbers reflected poorly on all of us critics, who HATED the show. But they may also have reflected a big curiosity tune-in. (Buddy TV)

So Say We All: YOUR Take on Monday Night TV (Updated)

Due to some technical difficulties, I didn’t get to watch all my shows last night. Rather than throw a fit I went into a Zen-like place where visions of John Krasinski, Zach Levi and Lee Pace calmed me down and sang sweet songs of love. What? Um, moving on…
In today’s post, let’s […]
