Leighton Meester, busy girl. The actress plays Blair on "Gossip Girl," which has enormous buzz despite a relatively tiny audience. And now, according to E!, she’s headed back to the set of HBO’s "Entourage" to reprise her season-one guest role as virginal pop tart Justine Chapin. No word whether this Britney Spears analogue is still a virgin, of course, but in the world of Vince Chase and Johnny Drama, it’s hard to imagine that she could remain so for long. The schoolgirl uniform didn’t do much to keep Britney pure, after all. New episodes of "Entourage" resume in the fall.

April 7th, 2008 — Big Love, Flight of the Conchords, Entourage
The writers strike continues to mess with our TV-viewing habits. BuzzSugar reports that HBO shows like "Entourage," "Big Love" and "Flight of the Conchords," which we expected to return this summer, will be pushed to fall or even next January. Ditto for "True Blood," the vamp series from Alan Ball of "Six Feet Under" fame. Consolation prizes include the "Generation Kill" miniseries - and we know how well Iraq movies have been doing at the box office - plus two comedian, one animated and one Australian. Not good enough.

Variety reports that New Zealand’s near-favorite near-celebrities are going to be hanging around in New York for another year: HBO has renewed "Flight Of The Conchords."
This, plus a re-order for "Entourage," means HBO will have at least two solid grownup shows to use as it battles Showtime’s ongoing assault on its market share.

Last night’s "Entourage" was all about sex and money being great and love being weakness. You know, to change things up from the usual themes. This time, the focus was how E isn’t enough of a man because he keeps being nice to women after he has sex with them. Then there was a bet about casual sex. As far as I can tell, the show is nothing but bad people doing bad things.
Nice people doing nice things? Yeah, that happened this weekend too. "Jericho" fans, after resurrecting their favorite show, are continuing to watch the tale of a small town struggling to survive in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Seriously, OMG! says the show’s even getting more traction. So, thats a nice story for you.
