May 12th, 2008 — Eli Stone, Back To You, Reaper, Scrubs
Consensus has it that "Eli Stone" is coming back to ABC, though I can’t understand why. "October Road" is dead. Sources disagree on "Women’s Murder Club," though given the title…
CBS is expected to bring back "The Unit." Still no word on whether "Reaper" will be back on CW, which has gotta be thought of as bad news.
Zach Braff told fans on MySpace what has been the worst-kept secret in Hollywood - "Scrubs" is moving to ABC for its eighth season.
Producers are trying to get CBS to pick up Kelsey Grammer and Patricia Heaton’s "Back to You," which was dropped by Fox. Here’s pix of Grammer at a "memorial" erected by fans over at Fox this morning. People are weird, no?

January 30th, 2008 — Eli Stone
"Eli Stone" hasn’t actually begun airing yet, but the American Academy Of Pediatrics is up in arms about it. Did I mention that he’s having prophetic visions? Because that’s important. He’s a prophet of doom, in other words.
The problem with the premise is that the vaccine-autism link is pretty much disproven, and the last thing we need is more unvaccinated children getting horribly, even fatally, ill because their parents believed the superstition that vaccines cause autism.TV Squad says parents and TV viewers are smarter than that. I disagree. Parents are crazy with sleeplessness and worry, and humans in general are terrible judges of risk, and the last thing we need is a television show which encourages parents to rush to […]

December 17th, 2007 — Eli Stone, Cashmere mafia, Big Shots, Lost, Grey's Anatomy
ABC unveiled its winter schedule on Friday, the last of the big four to do so, and the main news involved "Lost." You can argue that this will further confuse the already addled "Lost" audience, or that it will give the show a new chance for audience sampling as it kicks off its final three seasons. No word, though, on what airing eight episodes this year does to that plan for three final 16-ep seasons, which was supposed to tie a bow on the whole island saga.
Also in ABC announcement was word that Dylan McDermott’s "Big Shots" will return to Thursdays at […]
