"America’s Next Top Model" cycle 10 begins on Wednesday (and casting for cycle 11 begins tomorrow), and I’ve definitely got my two favorites picked out already. On the left, Fatima, the soft-spoken student from Boston who was born in Somalia and subjected to genital mutilation and infibulation as a child. She says people constantly compare her to Somali supermodel Iman. And on the right, Marvita, who auditioned for Cycle 9 of the show but got cut right away, at least partly because she was prone to fits of anger and unable to tolerate questioning or criticism from anyone. She’s back after a year of therapy and ready to learn. I’m really curious to see how they interact over the course of the season.
