"Anchorwoman" generated plenty of controversy, a lot of outraged denunciations, and a few positive reviews. Reactions to the show are all over the map, and they’re all over the TV blogs and media critic websites.
However, all that notoriety hasn’t given it much of a boost in ratings. According to Variety, it placed fifth in its time-slot, just ahead of a rerun of "America’s Next Top Model."
It was never intended to be a long-running production, but after last night’s ratings debacle, there’s already some speculation that the show may end even earlier.
