Well, we all got the final we expected - Cute David Archuleta versus Rocker David Cook. Syesha Mercado was voted out, and we’re on to next week’s finale of "American Idol." Woot.
I was ready to gouge my eyes and ears out, though, after that lame "Ain’t No Stopping Us Now" intro by the three of them, complete with the horrible dancing. But I guess it was a hard week to find time to practice, what with all the visiting their old schools and local Fox affiliates and singin’ at malls and cryin’ and all.
I had completely forgotten that Cook, who is going to win this thing, was originally the douche in the argyle sweater and the pink hair.
